ADVANCED WEB TECHNOLOGIES & CYBER SECURITY
Written and Published By: Demetrics Anderson, March 4, 2021
Advanced Web Technology encompasses a vast arrangement of rules and procedures each Web Developer should know or learn. In the past HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL were the fundamental Advanced Web improvements designed to build a site or web application.
Today, there is rather more advanced topics emerging in Web technologies. These include many extensions of Web standards, combination of various different Web technologies, Web toolkits and development environments that are current backend Web frameworks (e.g. Ruby on Rails, Django, Node & Express), and what we call frontend Web frameworks (e.g. Vue.js, Angular, React, Meteor, Ember.js). These advancements in the Web Industry gives developers the ability to integrate more sophisticated Web applications and richer media formats into advanced interactive Web sites.
As of today, additional advances in the Web community consist of:
1. Web Assembly
2. Movement User Interface (UI) Design
3. Utilization of Chatbots
4. Artificial Intelligence
5. Dynamic Web Applications (PWA)
6. Blockchain
7. Flourishing message pop-ups
8. Single Page Applications (SPA)
9. Web Server Software – Cyber Security
10. Computerized Transformation
11. AMP wins
12. Expanded Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR)
It is important for front-end and back-end Web developers, architects, and software engineers to have a good working knowledge on development processes and security. Security is vital to any developer because to build a site or application for a client and not secure that application or site is to leave the client’s pertinent data vulnerable to attack. Security is also important to mobile developers working on pure Web platforms and/or hybrid.
Many companies are facing Cyber-attacks, placing their clients at risk for identity theft. For this reason, many developers are in need of a deep understanding and working knowledge of Web Security to prevent the nation from losing its right to privacy under the 4th Amendment. The right to privacy is clearly alluded to in the Fourth Amendment to the US Constitution.
Web Technologies are becoming more advanced and Cyber Criminals are becoming savvier with using these technologies to hack some of the nation’s most important files.
In 2021, Cyber Security has become such a threat that Federal Courts are strengthening their IT processes to try and prevent cyber attacks on their court systems. See: Long Range Plan for Information Technology in the Federal Judiciary, Fiscal Year 2021 Update. https://lnkd.in/dkXmv8P
